This website has seen many students, faculty members, and administrators – especially in “higher education” – say some pretty dumb and hateful things about men and boys, often with the general support or acquiescence of the academic community. It has happened so much that it is increasingly hard to top the moral contortions and blind hatred they have pushed out over the years, like an unregulated megacorporation spilling toxic waste into the public drinking water.

But this case is pushing it. Straight from the Goshen College website, on a page titled “What men can do to stop rape”:

“Don’t allow psychological rape or commit it yourself. Psychological rape consists of verbal harassment, whistles, kissing noises, heavy breathing, sly comments or stares. These are all assaults on any woman’s sense of well-being.”

Screenshot here:

That’s it, men. It’s time to come to terms with our Patriarchal Privilege™. We actually are all rapists. We just never knew it until Goshen College told us.

Staring at someone is not rape, and anyone accusing a man of being a rapist just for staring is a false rape accuser. Goshen College does not fight the imaginary “rape culture” cooked up by Feminist fanatics. On the contrary, it creates and fosters very real false rape culture.

Of course, under this definition most (if not all) women would be rapists as well. But as Feminists & Friends have told us in the past, since rape is all about The Patriarchy™ men cannot be raped anyway.

And neither can boys be raped, even by female teachers in lower education. Because rape is all about male privilege and male power, and since women do not have either of those things, male victims of rape don’t exist. Hence the need for these “don’t rape, you rapist!” campaigns to exclusively target men.

Goshen College’s definition of rape is almost as bad as that of Dr. Liz Kelly, the chair of a Violence Against Women program, who said in her book [1]:

“Sexual violence includes any physical, visual, verbal or sexual act that is experienced by the woman or girl, at the time or later, as a threat, invasion or assault that has the effect of hurting her or degrading her and/or taken away her ability to control intimate contact.’”

Goshen College has some other tips on how the menfolk can help stop rape:

“Don’t allow yourself to be entertained by rape. Rape is a common device used in the media. Many of the myths about rape are depicted in the media. Refuse to watch shows that use rape to “turn on” the audience.”

Who does that? Seriously. Generally speaking, the only people who “allow themselves” to be entertained by rape are women who fantasize about it, which they apparently do a lot.

And no, “rape” is not a common media device, unless it is used as a means to create sympathy for a female character. Serial killers (like Dexter) can still be protagonists and even occasionally heroes in modern television. But not serial rapists.

The Goshen College webpage continues telling men how they can stop rape:

“Examine your own attitudes. We are not static individuals. Examine your attitudes and see if they make sense. People once thought the world was flat. Now we know better. Remember when most people thought women were inferior to men and men had the right to control them? That’s what we’ve been told all our lives. Now we are learning better.”

As in, do I remember an age when men were generally treated as superior in all walks of life? An age when women weren’t viewed as superior to men in some ways as well?

Well no, actually. Historically, gender roles privileged and disadvantaged both sexes, each in different ways.

I do, however, remember when I actually thought Feminism was a good thing. Well, that’s what we’ve been told all our lives. And now we are learning better.

A screenshot of this nonsense has been uploaded to this website to preserve Goshen College’s stupidity for the world to see.

A Reddit thread has been started which aims to send emails to Goshen College to correct the discriminatory statements on their website. You can view it here.

Could someone please tell me just how long I can look at a woman for before it becomes a stare? Maybe it depends on whether it’s a cold winter’s day when she has layers of clothing on or a hot summer’s day when she’s wearing a skimpy half-top, in which case anything longer than a nano-second probably qualifies as rape.

    • Jonathan Taylor (TCM) 02/26/2014 at 4:27 pm

If you have to ask if something is Stare Rape, it probably is. To be safe, better to just walk with your head facing the ground at all times. If you encounter a woman and want to look at her, it would probably be best to ask her permission first.

If you look at her nonconsensually for any period of time, she might feel raped. Which would of course mean that she has been raped.

I know this may cause some apprehension on your part. But you must know your place as a privileged male in the Patriarchy. Feminists will guide us on the path to true equality.

Action Opportunity: Urge Goshen College to correct apparently discriminatory statements on their web site

    TO:

    info@goshen.edu, ocr@ed.gov, askocr@ojp.usdoj.gov, ocrmail@hhs.gov

    SUBJECT:

Please correct apparently discriminatory statements on Goshen College web site

    BODY:

    To: Goshen College

Cc: US Department of Education Office of Civil Rights

Cc: US Department of Justice Office of Civil Rights

Cc: US Health and Human Services Office of Civil Rights

    Hi Goshen College,
There are various pages on your web site which suggest that all rape perpetrators are male, and all rape victims are female, including:

    http://www.goshen.edu/campuslife/counseling/sexuality/men/

These pages can create the appearance that Goshen College is denying the existence of male victims of rape, denying the existence of female perpetrators, and denying the existence of both male and female same sex rape victims. This creates the appearance that Goshen may be discriminating against victims on the basis of gender, or against victims on the basis of the gender of their perpetrator, or discriminating against victims of both genders on the basis of sexual orientation.

It is very likely that Goshen receives funds from the US Department of Justice, US Department of Education, and US Department of Health and Human Services. If so, such discrimination may quite possibly be a violation of various federal laws.

Firstly, under the FBI’s updated 2012 definition, rape does not depend on either the gender of the victim nor does it depend on the gender of the perpetrator:

The new definition of rape is: “The penetration, no matter how slight, of the vagina or anus with any body part or object, or oral penetration by a sex organ of another person, without the consent of the victim.”

From “Attorney General Eric Holder Announces Revisions to the Uniform Crime Report’s Definition of Rape ”

    http://www.fbi.gov/news/pressrel/press-releases/attorney-general-eric-holder-announces-revisions-to-the-uniform-crime-reports-definition-of-rape

As of the 2013 VAWA reauthorization, the nondiscrimination clauses include both gender and sexual orientation:

“(13) Civil rights (A) Nondiscrimination No person in the United States shall, on the basis of actual or perceived race, color, religion, national origin, sex, gender identity (as defined in paragraph 249(c)(4) of title 18), sexual orientation, or disability, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity funded in whole or in part with funds made available under the Violence Against Women Act of 1994 (title IV of Public Law 103–322; 108 Stat. 1902), the Violence Against Women Act of 2000 (division B of Public Law 106–386; 114 Stat. 1491), the Violence Against Women and Department of Justice Reauthorization Act of 2005 (title IX of Public Law 109–162; 119 Stat. 3080), [1] the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013, and any other program or activity funded in whole or in part with funds appropriated for grants, cooperative agreements, and other assistance administered by the Office on Violence Against Women.”

    “42 USC § 13925 – Definitions and grant provisions”

Also, the US Department of Education explains:

“Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 protects people from discrimination based on sex in education programs or activities which receive Federal financial assistance. Title IX states that:”

“”No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.””

    http://www2.ed.gov/about/offices/list/ocr/docs/tix_dis.html

Web pages such as the ones above can create the appearance that Goshen College’s educational programs regarding rape and sexual assault may be discriminatory.

Furthermore, these statements can create the appearance that Goshen College researchers working as contractors for the US Department of Health and Human Services will be unable to abide by nondiscrimination requirements when conducting research on public health problems that impact both men and women, including research on rape and domestic violence.

I hope you will use this information to faithfully update your web site to reflect the existence of victims and perpetrators of rape of all genders, and to ensure that Goshen College is in full compliance with all applicable federal laws. Until such action is taken, rape victims who may feel they are discriminated against, both men and women, both boys and girls, both gay and straight, must persevere.

Just yesterday, someone from the college I’m going to came to my room to escort me to public safety for a talk.
Apparently some girl I’ve talked to once feels uncomfortable because she keeps seeing me at the cafeteria and around campus. You know. The cafeteria and campus of the school I am going to.
They actually thought this was a big enough issue to drag me up there and have a talk with me.

I wonder if that falls under “assaults on any woman’s sense of well-being.” At least I didn’t get in trouble other than a talking to.

Guys, time to dutifully get your horse blinders out and put them on! The great patriarchal system of rape and domination is over! We’re busted! How has it come to this? We should have never let any woman wear shoes. When they stopped being barefoot and pregnant to just pregnant, well, boys, we just messed up. What ever can we do to grovel at the feet of our superiors must now be done. We must accompany them when they go on a crime spree so we can take the heat instead. We must be happy with the friend zone and paying way too much for child support. Of course the kid is ours, even if not biologically. Who would dare to let a little thing like scientific proof get in the way of our rightful self-flagellation and state imposed status as wage slaves. Why must we be this way? Because, darn it; we are the mutants with a third leg. And mutants don’t deserve rights. (For the intellectually impaired, yes this was sarcasm. To not include this disclaimer in with the rest of the quote means you are part of the real problem.)

The radical feminist movement wants to socially engineer society the same way the communist party of the USA would like too. The Womens movement was meant to give women the same rights as Men. The Radical Feminist want to indoctrinate young college age women into the radical movement to change and alter society for they’re self interests.

      Because only look means look.

Given that the people who write and say these kind of naive and bigoted statements cannot be reasoned with, the only other civil way to challenge is through a law court. The main problem is mainly with men accepting these egregious rules and not fighting back.

In Italy a man was jailed because accused (without proof) of having looked too much at a lady. We must get rid of these feminist crimes against innocent men. http://www.repubblica.it/2008/04/sezioni/cronaca/lecco-condannato-sguardo/lecco-condannato-sguardo/lecco-condannato-sguardo.html

Got a question. When are we just going to expect these feminists to grow a backbone. Life is harsh. Anyone telling you otherwise is just trying to sell you something.

It’s just not worth the risk. To hell with women, MGTOW!

The radical feminist movement wants to socially engineer society the same way the communist party of the USA would like too. The Womens movement was meant to give women the same rights as Men. The Radical Feminist want to indoctrinate young college age women into the radical movement to change and alter society for they’re self interests.
